The Wild Kitchen at Beaverbrook

The Wild Kitchen at Beaverbrook is one of those dining experiences that you will remember for years to come.

Rustic, cosy and soulful is how we would describe it. Set in the serene Surrey Hills, within the Beaverbrook estate there is nothing quite like it. Where nature transports you to something very special.

Wild Kitchens was founded by Guy Ritchie and rumour has it that Ritchie built the first outdoor kitchen for his wife who didn’t like eating in the cold.  With no electricity the Wild Kitchen is totally sustainable with a smoke-free controllable fire pit.

The table can sit up to 25 guests so perfect for those special celebrations or if you just want to experience a very quintessentially British dining experience. You could imagine the English Royal family members having meals here – think more hunter boots and Barbour jackets than high heels and dressy attire.

The wholesome mouth-watering menus have been carefully crafted by the Head Chefs of the Japanese restaurant and Garden House restaurant of the estate.  It’s the sort of vibe that only adults would truly appreciate. Children under 12 are not permitted for safety reasons. The experience caters for vegetarians and pescatarians.

For the full experience, you can make use of Beaverbrook’s in house historian Annabel, who can give you a guided tour of the Grade-II-listed Beaverbrook estate. Formerly owned by the socialite Lord Beaverbrook, the hotel is enriched in marvellous stories -with Elizabeth Taylor, Rudyard Kipling and Ian Fleming being former guests.  The experience ends with coffees in the hotel’s library room, where you can sit by the fireplace and take in the history.
